Celebrating Britain’s Asian Culinary Stars

After nine successful years of honouring the very best in Asian cuisine and hospitality, Samara Events UK proudly announces the 10th Anniversary of the Asian Food & Restaurant Awards (AFRA), celebrating an incredible decade-long journey of culinary excellence.
AFRA CEO Attul Haq said: “The British-Asian food and hospitality and industry plays a significant role in the UK economy and contributes greatly to the country’s cultural and economic growth. These awards are about celebrating that contribution and highlighting the people and brands that are driving Britain’s food industry forward.”
The Chair of the Judging Committee for 2025 is George Shaw, Editor of The Good Curry Guide personality, restaurant marketing consultant and influential figure in hospitality.

The Asian Food & Restaurant Awards is an annual black-tie gala dinner dedicated to recognising excellence across the Asian food and hospitality sector. The awards celebrate outstanding achievements among restaurants, takeaways, chefs, food and drink brands, catering companies, retailers, and suppliers that have made an indelible mark on the eating habits of the British public.
This year’s prestigious event, hosted by Bollywood star and radio presenter Anushka Arora, will take place onMonday, 2nd December at one of Britain’s most iconic venues, The Dilly Hotel, Mayfair, London.
The Awards, staged by Samara Events, are supported by Taste Asia, Madhu’s, Cobra Beer, Sunrise Radio, Punjab TV, Brit Punjabi, Do Care and PayTap.
